Accessibility Statement
Effective Date: September 18, 2026
1 · Our commitment to digital accessibility
FamScapes is designed for families across generations, and we want the FamScapes digital experience to be usable by people with a wide range of abilities. We are committed to improving the accessibility, usability, and inclusiveness of the FamScapes website and web-based Service.
For Release 1.0, FamScapes aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. WCAG is an internationally recognized technical standard developed by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) for making web content more accessible to people with disabilities.
Accessibility is an ongoing process. Unless and until FamScapes expressly states otherwise after appropriate evaluation, this Statement should not be read as a claim that every page, feature, or third-party component fully conforms to WCAG 2.2 Level AA.

3 · What this Statement covers
This Statement applies to the FamScapes-owned public website and authenticated web-based Service that are part of Release 1.0. It addresses digital accessibility of FamScapes itself, including core navigation, account and planning interfaces, Winston interactions, and other FamScapes-controlled digital content and functionality.
This Statement does not make an accessibility commitment for independent websites, apps, content, products, or services operated by third parties. Section 7 explains how we approach third-party content and links.
4 · How we approach accessibility
FamScapes aims to consider accessibility throughout design, content, development, and quality review so that improvements can apply consistently across the Service. Our work focuses on practical barriers that can affect people who use assistive technology, navigate by keyboard, enlarge or reflow content, use alternative input methods, or benefit from clearer presentation and interaction patterns.
We also treat accessibility as part of ongoing product quality. As the Service changes, new features and material design changes should be reviewed for accessibility considerations appropriate to the feature.
5 · Accessibility practices we work toward
Depending on the feature and content involved, FamScapes works toward practices such as:
- Keyboard access - making core functions usable without requiring a mouse and avoiding keyboard traps.
- Touch and responsive layout — the website scales to the device screen and can be used by touch when the device supports it.
- Clear structure and navigation - using meaningful headings, labels, landmarks, focus order, and consistent navigation patterns.
- Screen-reader and assistive-technology support - using semantic markup, accessible names, instructions, and status information so interactive features can be understood and operated with assistive technologies.
- Readable visual presentation - using sufficient contrast, readable typography, visible focus indicators, and information that does not rely on color alone.
- Zoom, text resizing, and reflow - supporting reasonable enlargement and responsive layouts without unnecessary loss of information or functionality.
- Text alternatives and media - providing meaningful text alternatives for informative images and appropriate alternatives for multimedia when used.
- Forms, instructions, and errors - using clear labels and instructions and providing understandable error identification and recovery guidance.
- Winston and interactive content - working to make Winston and other dynamic FamScapes interactions navigable, understandable, and compatible with assistive technologies.
6 · Evaluation and ongoing improvement
Accessibility is not a one-time project. FamScapes continues to evaluate and improve the Service as features, standards, technologies, and user needs evolve. Accessibility review may include design review, automated checks, manual testing, keyboard testing, assistive-technology testing, and feedback from people who use the Service, as appropriate to the feature being evaluated.
Automated tools can help identify certain issues, but they do not by themselves establish that a digital experience is accessible. FamScapes therefore aims to combine technical checks with human review and practical testing where appropriate.
7 · Third-party content, services, and links
FamScapes may display, embed, or link to content or services provided by independent third parties. Those third parties control their own websites, apps, content, and accessibility practices. FamScapes cannot guarantee that an independent third-party service will meet the same accessibility target or provide the same accessibility features as FamScapes.
Where a third-party component is integrated into a FamScapes-controlled experience, we aim to consider accessibility when reasonably practical. If a third-party component creates an accessibility barrier within FamScapes, contact us and we will work to identify a reasonable way to help where practicable.
8 · Digital accessibility and travel accessibility are different
This Statement concerns accessibility of the FamScapes digital Service. It does not determine the physical accessibility of hotels, transportation, attractions, activities, destinations, or other third-party travel services, and it does not determine whether a third party must provide a particular accommodation under applicable law.
Winston may help organize accessibility, mobility, dietary, assistance-animal, or other Traveler considerations for planning purposes. Material accessibility information and accommodation requests should be confirmed directly with the relevant travel provider, venue, or other authoritative source before purchase or travel.
9 · Feedback, assistance, and alternative access
If you encounter an accessibility barrier while using FamScapes, or if you need assistance accessing FamScapes information or functionality, please contact us. Accessibility feedback helps us identify issues that may not be apparent through testing alone.
When contacting us, it is helpful to identify the page or feature involved and describe the problem you encountered. If you are comfortable doing so, you may also tell us the browser, device, or assistive technology you were using. You do not need to disclose a diagnosis or medical condition to report a digital accessibility issue.
We aim to acknowledge accessibility-related requests promptly and work toward a reasonable resolution. Where a digital barrier prevents access to information or functionality, we will try to provide an accessible alternative or another reasonable means of assistance where practicable.
